Víctor Manuel – Desde el Pozu Barreo

The Spanish singer-songwriter with a new show and classics such as “Asturias” and “Solo pienso en ti”.

Víctor Manuel (full name Víctor Manuel San José Sánchez) was born in 1947 in Mieres, Asturias. He moved to Madrid in 1964 and recorded his first singles a year later. Together with his wife, the singer and actress Ana Belén, he is counted among the most representative artists of Spain's transition to democracy; the couple also share a hit, “La puerta de Alcalá”.

📍 A show born at home in Mieres

“Desde el Pozu Barreo” grew out of a concert in his home town of Mieres, held by the former Pozu Barredo mine. The setlist mixes new songs with classics: “Soy un corazón tendido al sol”, “Ay amor”, “El abuelo Vítor”, “Quiero abrazarte tanto”, “Planta 14”, “Solo pienso en ti” and “Asturias”.

The concert takes place at ADDA, the Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante on Paseo de Campoamor, organised by Santo Grial. ADDA's page lists no prices; tickets are sold on the artist's official website.
