The council and parish have presented the poster and religious programme of the festivities for Torrevieja’s patron, the Immaculate Conception. Amparo Cos Boj will give the opening speech (pregón) on 15 November at 12:45 in the Inmaculada church; the highlights are the flower offering on 5 December and the solemn procession on 8 December.

From 28 November to 7 December the Inmaculada church holds the rosary, novena and Mass every evening from 18:50. On 5 December at 17:00 the flower offering sets off from the Sagrado Corazón church along Calle Moriones and Calle Caballero de Rodas; groups can take part by registering with the council’s festivities department, and white flowers are preferred.

On 8 December Masses are at 9:00, 11:00, 12:00 and 18:30, and after the evening Mass the procession goes through the centre; outside the Casino the statue is turned towards the sea, the anthem is played and fireworks are set off. On 22 November from 9:00 to 13:30 the church courtyard hosts a charity market with sweets, tapas and rice dishes at low prices.
