Elche’s Bonos Consumo are back: registered residents can buy up to €200 of shopping vouchers for €100. Sign up on 9–12 November, then there is a draw; buying runs 16–19 November and the vouchers can be spent until 20 December.

On 5 November Elche city council announced a new Bonos Consumo campaign. The money — €1,495,455 — comes from the Diputación de Alicante, and the council expects it to bring around €3 million of spending into the city’s shops, bars and services. The scheme is familiar: you pay half, the council pays the other half.

📍 Who can take part

You must have been registered (empadronado) in Elche on 1 September 2026 and be 18 or over when you buy. Payment is by bank card only, credit or debit: if the vouchers are not spent in time, the money goes back to the same card.

📍 How to buy, step by step

Step 1. From 9 to 12 November, sign up at elche.bonosconsumo.es; if you cannot do it online, you can register in person at the OMAC offices. Step 2. On 13 November there is a draw that sets the number from which vouchers are allocated, so the day you signed up does not matter. Step 3. Buy online from 16 to 19 November; on 17 and 18 November they are also sold at OMAC. Step 4. Spend them from 20 November to 20 December.

📍 What is new

This time each voucher is worth at least €20, then multiples of 20, up to €200 per person. You can use all your own vouchers in a single purchase. If any are left after the first sale, the council promises another chance to those who missed out in the draw. Elche’s shops, bars and service businesses can join the campaign from 9 to 30 November.

Similar campaigns are running this autumn in other towns on the coast, from Torrevieja and Guardamar to Calp. We have put together how each one works in a separate story.
