Torrevieja, Alicante, Los Montesinos, Benidorm and more: step by step how to get the vouchers, what to bring, deadlines and who can apply.

Bono consumo vouchers are discounts for shopping in local shops, bars and restaurants. Usually you pay half and the town hall covers the rest; in Los Montesinos and Benidorm the voucher is actually free. This autumn several towns in the south of the Costa Blanca are running these campaigns, almost all funded by the Diputación de Alicante. Each town has its own rules, dates and website, and almost everywhere only registered residents (empadronados) qualify. Here it is, town by town and step by step.

📍 Torrevieja

Vouchers of €10 and €20, each costing half: up to €200 in vouchers per DNI or NIE, meaning €100 of your own money. Spend them from 9 November to 31 December in the town’s participating shops, bars and restaurants (shops inside shopping centres are not included).

Step 1. Check that you qualify: you are 18 or over, registered on Torrevieja’s padrón (as the official town hall and APYMECO poster says; according to local press, by 30 September), and you have a DNI or NIE and a bank card with funds.

Step 2. Decide how to buy. Online purchase is only possible with a digital certificate (certificado digital) or an electronic DNI installed on your phone or computer. No certificate? Buy in person (step 4).

Step 3. Online: on 2 November from 15:00 go to torrevieja.bonoconsumo.es, fill in your personal details, choose €10 and €20 vouchers and pay half by card. Sales run until the vouchers are gone, so it is best to log in straight away.

Step 4. In person: from 5 November (from 08:00) to 17 November at town hall offices, by appointment only (cita previa). The town hall and APYMECO announce how to book. Bring your DNI or NIE and a bank card.

Step 5. Spend from 9 November. Find a place in the “buscar establecimientos” list on the website; at the till show the voucher, printed or on your phone, and your DNI or NIE. If your NIE has no photo, bring your passport or driving licence too. The purchase must be at least the value of the vouchers, no cash change is given, and you can combine several of your own vouchers in one purchase. You can see your vouchers under “Consulta tus bonos”. They expire after 31 December.

If something goes wrong: 617 294 443 and 865 942 361 (Mon–Fri, 9:00–20:00) or soporte@bonoconsumo.net.

📍 Alicante

Up to €400 in vouchers, of which you pay €200. Only for registered residents of Alicante aged 18 or over. Spend them from 3 November to 5 December.

Step 1. Register at bonocomercioalicante.es — again, even if you bought vouchers last year.

Step 2. Find your day. Over 65: in person on 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9 November, 08:30–14:30, at the Mercado Central and community centres (addresses by day on the website), with your DNI or NIE and a bank card. Aged 18 to 30: online on 5, 6 and 9 November, in the afternoon. Everyone else: online on 10, 11, 12, 13 and 16 November, in the morning and from 16:00. There is a daily limit, and vouchers run out.

Step 3. Choose €20, €50, €100 or €200 vouchers — you pay half of each. They arrive by email and appear in your account and the Buybono app.

Step 4. In a participating shop, show the voucher and your DNI. One voucher per purchase, the purchase must be at least the voucher’s value, and you can combine several of your own vouchers. In-store only, not online shopping. Important: this is public aid, and the town hall’s contribution must be declared in your 2026 IRPF tax return as a capital gain (ganancia patrimonial).

📍 Los Montesinos

The voucher is free: €50 per person, in five uses of €10. Registered residents of Los Montesinos aged 16 or over with a valid DNI or NIE can get one. There are 2,475 vouchers in total, first come, first served.

Step 1. From 2 to 10 November, register at bonos.losmontesinos.es: name, DNI or NIE, date of birth, email. The voucher’s QR code arrives by email. 475 vouchers are handed out in person at the town hall — it will announce the days and times; someone else can collect yours with a written authorisation and a copy of your DNI or NIE.

Step 2. Spend from 1 to 30 December in participating shops: show the QR code (on your phone or printed) and your DNI or NIE. You can apply one or more €10 uses at a time; the purchase must be at least the amount applied and there is no cash change. You can split it between different shops. Whatever is left expires after 30 December.

📍 Benidorm

Here the vouchers are free: the town hall gives everyone up to three €10 vouchers, up to €30 in total. The campaign is called #BenidormTeDaMás.

Who can get them: everyone registered on the padrón (empadronado) in Benidorm who turns 18 by 31 December 2026 — about 75,000 people. You don’t pay anything in advance.

Dates: the campaign runs from 15 to 31 December — that is when you download and spend the vouchers.

Step 1. From 15 December, download the vouchers in a mobile app, with no queues. The town hall will name the app and the start time once the rules are approved; the campaign website bonobenidormtedamas.es still says “Próximamente”. Last year it worked like this: register at bonobenidormtedamas.es in the “Área de Consumidores” section (ID number and password), then download the vouchers as a PDF or in the BuyBono app — from 09:00 on 15 December.

Step 2. Spend them in participating shops, bars and restaurants. The purchase must be at least twice the voucher: a €10 voucher on a bill of €20 or more, all three vouchers give €30 off purchases of €60 or more.

No smartphone, or the download doesn’t work? Last year there was in-person help: at the town hall (salón de actos) on weekdays from 8:00 to 15:00 and at district offices. The town hall will publish this year’s timetable with the rules — we are following it and will update this article.

📍 Almoradí

The campaign runs until 7 November, but the €50 vouchers are already gone.

📍 Rojales

According to local press, online sales open on 16 November.

📍 Elche, Orihuela, Pilar de la Horadada

Campaigns have been announced, but there are no exact dates yet — we are watching and will tell you. They must run by the end of the year, so vouchers may still appear in Santa Pola, Callosa de Segura, Catral and San Miguel de Salinas too.
