The ten Orihuela Costa beaches with a Blue Flag in 2026, where to find a beach lift and an accessible point with an amphibious chair, and which coves are calmer — based on Orihuela Town Hall information.

Blue Flags 2026

Orihuela has 16 km of coastline between Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada. In 2026 ten beaches received a Blue Flag (ADEAC): Calas de Aguamarina, Barranco Rubio, Cabo Roig – La Caleta, Cala Capitán, Cala Cerrada, Cala Estaca, Campoamor – La Glea, La Zenia – Cala Bosque, Mil Palmeras and Punta Prima. The Dehesa de Campoamor yacht club also holds one.

Beaches from north to south

Descriptions are based on Orihuela Town Hall’s beaches page. Lifeguards, sunbeds and beach bars operate mainly in summer.

Accessibility

For people with reduced mobility the town hall highlights three options: the beach lift at Punta Prima, the accessible point with lifeguards and an amphibious chair at Cala Bosque (La Zenia), and the accessible beaches of Cala Estaca and Cala Capitán with parking for people with reduced mobility. La Glea is also listed as accessible. Check the accessible point’s hours with the Concejalía de Costa.

Safety

Swim where lifeguards are on duty and watch the flag on the mast. We explain the green, yellow and red flags in our Torrevieja beaches guide. In an emergency call 112.

Keep in mindThe Blue Flag list and descriptions were checked on the Orihuela Town Hall website on 16 October 2026. Seasonal services and accessible points do not run all year — check with the town hall before you go.
