Where it is
Ciudad Quesada is not a separate town but residential urbanisations in the municipality of Rojales, together with Doña Pepa, Pueblo Bravo and Lo Pepín. Old Rojales lies on the Segura river: it has the town hall, cave-house neighbourhoods and traditional market gardens (huerta). So padrón registration, local taxes and most certificates are handled by Rojales Town Hall.

Market and shopping
The Rojales weekly market is held on Thursdays — that is how the town hall described it at the council meeting of 9 February 2023. The exact location and hours are not published on the town hall website, so check them with the town hall by phone. What to see and what is nearby
Rojales has the Archaeological Museum (966 713 273), the Huerta Museum (965 970 195) and the Cuevas del Rodeo (966 714 160), a cave-house quarter with craft workshops; the programme is on museosderojales.es. Rojales has no coastline of its own: the nearest beaches are in Guardamar and La Mata, and the Torrevieja lagoons natural park is close by.
