Town hall and padrón registration

- Registry office: Mon–Fri 8:00–15:00 from 1 October to 31 May, and 8:00–14:30 from 1 June to 30 September.
- Padrón registration or change of address (alta o cambio de padrón): Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30–13:00, by appointment only.

Market and tourist office
The municipal market (Mercadillo Municipal) is held on Wednesday mornings, according to the town hall’s notices. The tourist office is at Plaza Juan Carlos I, 1, tel. 966 723 466. The Tourism page gives Wednesday hours of 10:00–14:00, while a town hall news item of 28 April 2026 announced new hours of 9:00–15:00 without naming the days — call before you go.
Local holidays
In 2026 the local holidays in San Miguel de Salinas were 28 and 29 September (DOGV, 14 November 2025). The Generalitat has not yet approved the 2027 local holidays; the national and regional holidays for 2027 are in a separate guide.
Nature and what is nearby
Part of the municipality lies in the Sierra Escalona Protected Landscape (together with Pilar de la Horadada and Orihuela): pine woods and birds of prey; the GVA information centre is in Pinar de Campoverde. San Miguel has no beaches — the nearest are on the Orihuela Costa and in Torrevieja, which is also where you go for big shops and the hospital.
